Transport Manager

As Transport Manager, you will report directly to the Depot Manager on all matters. You will be responsible for ensuring that all transport related matters are dealt with in a professional manner. This will include the scheduling of all deliveries and ensuring that our vehicles are maintained to the correct standard. You will also be responsible for assisting in the efficient day to day running of the rental operation. These duties will include ensuring that hire and sales enquiries are being processed efficiently and that all relevant paperwork is being processed correctly. You will need to use your initiative and imagination at all times and be aware of your role in the depots overall sales effort. As Hire Controller, you will report directly to the Depot Manager on all matters. You will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the rental operation. These duties will include ensuring that hire and sales enquiries are being processed efficiently and that all relevant paperwork is being processed correctly. This is a senior position and as such you will be involved with the supervision of the hire staff, fitters and drivers to ensure that they are carrying out their duties efficiently.
