Electric scissor lifts are suitable for indoor use, rough terrain scissor lifts for outdoor applications, and compact models for confined spaces. Our 4-22 metre fleet is designed to meet diverse project requirements.

    • Are scissor lifts easy to operate?

      Yes, scissor lifts are designed with user-friendly controls. However, proper training is essential. We provide IPAF training to ensure safe and efficient operation.

    • Do I need insurance for the rented scissor lift?

      Insurance requirements may vary depending on your location and the type of project. It's advisable to check with our team to ensure you have the appropriate coverage for the rented equipment.

    Working at height training – IPAF

    Our dedicated training team can offer IPAF courses 5 days a week. Our main Training Centre is located at our Hayes depot in Middlesex; however we can conduct on-site training (subject to appropriate facilities and equipment being available). All successful trainees receive an IPAF Log Book on completion of an operator course, which will enable them to record their relevant experience. This could shorten the renewal process for experienced personnel. The IPAF Operator and Demonstrator cards are valid for 5 years, after which all card holders will need to attend a refresher course. All MEWP users should keep up-to-date with current legislation and equipment changes.

    Our range of rough terrain scissor lifts for hire are ideal for construction applications. With working heights of up to 22m these models are ideal for a wide range of construction tasks.

    Electric scissor lift hire

    Our range of electric scissor lifts are ideal for indoor and outdoor applications in tight spaces on firm, level surfaces. We have models narrow enough to fit through doorways and light enough to go in lifts. Electric scissor lifts have zero emissions, are quiet and are fitted with non-marking tyres making them the ideal machine for working at height, especially in indoor applications.

    How long do scissor lift batteries last?

    Electric scissor lifts are designed to work for a full day’s shift on a single charge. Overnight charging means that the machine is ready for use the next day. To ensure battery life is kept to its maximum length, keep the battery banks clean and dry.
