We’re excited to announce that CW Plant is expanding its hire fleet with a significant investment in the latest Trime lighting towers. Our new purchase includes no fewer than 100 Trime models, which are a combination of X-Eco, X-Eco Solar Hybrid, and X-Eco Lithium machines.
We’re proud to say that our site lighting fleet is now entirely made up of Trime models, totalling 650 sets that are distributed throughout our 29 depots nationwide. As a leading provider of equipment hire services, we’re committed to investing in the most modern and eco-friendly technology to meet the needs of our clients.
According to Graham Pollard, CW Plant Director, we’ve noticed a trend in the construction and event markets to move towards more sustainable machinery. Hence, our decision to continue investing in Trime X-Eco LED engine-powered lighting towers, along with solar-powered X-Eco Solar Hybrid and battery-powered X-Eco Lithium lighting sets.
Trime’s eco-friendly sets are the most advanced technology, and their environmental and fuel-saving attributes make them a very attractive proposition for our clients.
The X-Solar Hybrid is an excellent example of this, with low emissions and operating noise-free for a significant part of its operation. It has four 60W LED lamps fitted to a fully galvanised 8.5-metre mast, providing a light coverage of 2000 sq m.
The X-Eco Lithium set is also an exciting addition to our fleet. Its battery can be fully recharged in less than three hours, which means that in a ten-hour cycle, it runs off battery power for 80 per cent of its operation. With six LED lamps, it can illuminate an area of more than 3000 sq m.
We’re committed to providing our clients with the latest and most eco-friendly equipment. Our new investment in Trime lighting towers is just one way we’re achieving that goal.
