We are looking for a proactive and customer-driven Hire Manager to lead our busy hire desk and support our expanding client base. In this key role, you will oversee the hire and transport functions of a busy depot. This position offers development and progression through the Charles Wilson management structure.
What you’ll do:
- Supervise the hire team
- Work closely with our Hire Negotiators, offering guidance and support
- Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and recommending the right equipment
- Ensure a smooth end-to-end hire process
- Manage the transport system
- Maintain our reputation for delivering outstanding service within the plant hire industry
- Deputise for the depot manager – when necessary
