This deal is worth more than £5 million and represents the biggest order so far for these new machines. The fleet includes 25 machines, ranging from the 21-metre 555-210R to the 26-metre 555-260R models, which are now available for CW Plant Hire customers across the UK.
These new models are powered by JCB’s Stage V Dieselmax engines and are designed to be more fuel-efficient and emit fewer exhaust emissions. They also feature Auto Engine Idle and Auto Engine Stop features as standard, which further reduces fuel use. JCB has focused on maximising reliability, productivity, safety and ease of use by ensuring the robust boom construction and familiar vertically-integrated driveline components.
