What does Approved Used mean?

Approved Used is the standard we apply to every machine we sell from our hire fleet. Before anything is listed, it goes through a full inspection carried out by our in-house engineers, any work required is completed, and the service documentation is prepared ready for handover. Every machine comes with a full history from the day it entered our fleet, so you know exactly what you're buying and how it's been cared for.

What payload capacity do I need from a site dumper?

For most residential and small commercial groundworks, a 1 to 3 tonne dumper will handle the majority of applications comfortably. Larger civils projects or sites moving significant volumes of material in each load will benefit from a 6 to 9 tonne machine. Our range covers 1 to 9 tonnes, so please contact us if you would like guidance on which capacity suits your application.

What is the difference between a front tip and swivel tip dumper?

A front tip dumper tips the load directly ahead of the machine, which suits most standard groundworks applications. A swivel tip dumper has a rotating skip that can tip to the front or either side without repositioning the machine, making it particularly useful on confined sites or where precise placement of material is required. Both types are available within our Approved Used range.

What hours should I expect on a used dumper?

Our used dumpers typically come with between 2,000 and 3,000 hours. For a machine that has been serviced on schedule and maintained throughout its working life, that represents a reliable buy with plenty of work ahead. Every machine we sell comes with full service records from new, so you have complete confidence in what you are getting.
