What does Approved Used mean?

Approved Used is the standard we apply to every machine we sell from our hire fleet. Before anything is listed, it goes through a full inspection carried out by our in-house engineers, any work required is completed, and the service documentation is prepared ready for handover. Every machine comes with a full history from the day it entered our fleet, so you know exactly what you're buying and how it's been cared for.

What lift height do I need from a telehandler?

For most general construction and materials handling work, a lift height between 6 and 10 metres will cover the majority of applications. If you need to place loads at roof level on larger projects, something in the 14 to 20 metre range gives you the reach required. Our range spans 4 to 20 metres, so there is usually a suitable machine available. If you are unsure what you need, please contact us and we will be happy to advise.

What hours should I expect on a used telehandler?

Our used telehandlers typically come with between 2,000 and 3,000 hours. For a machine that has been serviced on schedule and maintained throughout its working life, that leaves plenty of productive work ahead. Every machine we sell comes with full service records from new, so you have complete confidence in what you are getting.

What attachments are available?

Pallet forks are fitted as standard on our used telehandlers. Depending on the machine, additional attachments such as shovels and jibs may also be available. If you have a specific requirement, please mention it when you enquire and we will confirm what is on the machine or what can be sourced alongside it.

What’s the difference between a standard and rotating telehandler?

A standard telehandler lifts and extends in a fixed forward direction, so you position the machine and work from that spot. A rotating telehandler has a 360-degree turntable, allowing the boom to swing in any direction without moving the chassis. Rotating models are particularly well suited to confined sites or applications where loads need to be placed in multiple directions. We carry rotating telehandlers as a separate range, with lift heights up to 26 metres. Please contact us if you would like to discuss which type suits your application.
