Here at Charles Wilson Engineers Ltd, we offer IPAF training (International Powered Access Federation) courses in different locations throughout the country. We are able to assist you by offering a nationally recognised qualification for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP).
We offer training courses for a wide range of different elevated working platforms:
Courses run Monday to Friday
Our dedicated training team can offer IPAF training courses 5 days a week. Our main training centre is located in Hayes, Middlesex. We can conduct on-site training, if required (subject to the appropriate facilities and equipment being available).
Qualification
When you complete your IPAF training course with Charles Wilson, you will receive a PAL (Powered Access Licence) card that is valid for 5 years. You will also receive a safety guide, log book (on completion of an Operators course), and a certificate.
Log your experience with the IPAF ePAL app
All successful trainees should keep an up-to-date record of their IPAF licences and operating experience using the free IPAF ePAL app. ePAL replaces the old paper log book, making it easy to log machine use, store digital PAL Cards and certificates, and access safety information from your phone. For renewal courses, candidates must present a valid IPAF licence and have at least 60 logged entries, including 10 from the past 12 months.
Keep Training Up to Date
The IPAF Operator and Demonstrator cards are valid for 5 years, after which all cardholders will need to attend a course. All MEWP users should keep up to date with current legislation and equipment changes.
Working at Height Regulations: 2005
The IPAF Operator and Demonstrator cards are valid for 5 years, after which all cardholders will need to attend a course. All MEWP users should keep up to date with current legislation and equipment changes.
