Qualification
When you complete your IPAF training course with Charles Wilson, you will receive a PAL (Powered Access Licence) card that is valid for 5 years. You will also receive a safety guide, log book (on completion of an Operators course), and a certificate.
Your Log Book
All successful trainees receive an IPAF log book on completion of an Operators course, which will enable them to record their relevant experience. This could shorten the renewal process for experienced personnel; for a renewal course, candidates will need to have a current IPAF card and a log book with 60 entries (10 entries from the past 12 months).
Keep Training Up to Date
The IPAF Operator and Demonstrator cards are valid for 5 years, after which all cardholders will need to attend a course. All MEWP users should keep up to date with current legislation and equipment changes.
